Perhaps alright for working out, but not much else!
When our clients bought their house in Calgary's northern community of Kincora, they immediately began looking towards completing their basement development. With family often coming to visit, they wanted a space that offered an extra bedroom and a three piece bath for their guests. Their other priorities included lots of light to brighten up the space, and a wet bar for entertaining.
The wet bar
The finished product features a custom cabinet design complete with quartz countertops and a tile backsplash. There is laminate flooring throughout the main area, carpet in the bedroom, and a heated tile floor in the bathroom. The shower has a river rock base, a bench for seating and storage, and a panel featuring a rainhead, wand, and body sprays. The many pot lights accent the natural lighting from the large windows and create a space so bright, you would hardly believe you're in a basement!
